Overview

Freelance Writer/Editor: We are looking for a freelance writer/editor to assist on a publication and to perform short composing tasks when needed. The author/editor must be a master in their craft: innovative, bold, unbiased, and deeply aligned with the guide in addition to the brand.

Responsibilities

• Assist on a publication with writing and editing responsibilities and perform short composing tasks as needed.
• Craft writing that blends poetic, symbolic, mythological, detailed, visual, magical, and emotionally rich content that engages readers and explores a wide range of feelings and insights.
• Develop content that lingers in the reader's mind and, at times, challenges assumptions.
• Ensure writing and compositions reflect the brand voice and design, including developing speeches or other pieces that convey the brand's unique viewpoint and individuality.

Qualifications

• Degree in American English, English literature, or creative writing.
• Exceptional writing and editing abilities.
• Strong proofreading skills for biographies, proposals, discussions, speeches, and similar material.
• Ability to craft powerful, distinctive writing and to convey the brand's voice consistently.
