One of our client, a Risk Management Company, is hiring a Travel & Logistics Officer for a permanent position based in Dubai (Silicon Oasis).

Job Description

The overall objective is to ensure efficient, compliant, cost-controlled, and secure travel arrangements for staff, while maintaining rigorous follow‑up, data accuracy, and proactive risk and safety management.

Travel & Logistics Officer performs four main functions:

Travel & Visa Coordination
  • Process and manage all travel requests and visa procedures for employees.
  • Coordinate deployments and redeployments with project teams.
  • Handle bookings, validate itineraries, manage urgent changes, and guide staff through required procedures.
Travel Request Validation & Compliance
  • Review and approve travel requests (flights, accommodation, visas, insurance).
  • Ensure alignment with internal Travel Policy (flight class, approvals, timelines).
  • Verify information accuracy and request clarifications when needed.
  • Coordinate with travel agency partners and maintain approval traceability.
  • Update and maintain traveler information databases.
Agency Coordination & Service Quality
  • Monitor booking activities with partner travel agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with procedures, cost control, and service quality.
  • Identify issues (non‑compliance, excessive pricing, schedule errors) and drive corrective action.
  • Suggest process improvements and cost‑saving initiatives.
Traveler Safety & Insurance Management
  • Ensure proper insurance coverage for all business trips.
  • Update insurance declaration tables and check related invoices.
  • Assist with reimbursement or insurance claim issues.
  • Share security instructions and emergency protocols with travelers.
  • Monitor risk levels per country and ensure bookings comply with safety standards.
  • Contribute to improving travel safety processes and insurance practices.
Profile / Requirements
  • Candidate must hold a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of total experience of which 2 years dedicated to travel management.
  • Good computer literacy Word + Excel.
  • Flexible to answer emergencies outside of working hours (flight changes for example).
  • Good level of English (written and spoken).
