We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic trainer with specialized expertise in sports finance to deliver a high-impact 5-day Financial Management for the Sports Industry course in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance combined with direct experience in the sports sector, and the ability to engage senior executives through practical, real-world scenarios and strategic exercises.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver a comprehensive 5-day training program on financial management tailored specifically to the sports industry, covering financial statements, budgeting, revenue generation, and long-term strategic planning.
  • Develop and utilize engaging training materials, including case studies, financial simulations, role-playing scenarios, and practical templates that participants can apply directly within their organizations.
  • Facilitate interactive sessions on analysing financial statements, designing budgets for teams and events, identifying revenue opportunities, and managing financial risks unique to sports.
  • Guide participants through real-world case studies, such as club financial turnarounds, sponsorship deal evaluations, and event budget analysis, to reinforce practical application.
  • Provide expert mentorship and strategic insights to help participants align financial strategies with long-term organizational goals and improve stakeholder communication.
  • Evaluate participant understanding and progress through interactive exercises and discussions.
  • Collaborate with the client to ensure the training content is directly relevant to the participants' roles and challenges.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a trainer, facilitator, or instructor in financial management, with a specific focus on the sports industry.
  • Substantial professional background in a financial role (e.g., CFO, Finance Manager, Financial Analyst) within a sports organization, such as a club, federation, venue, or event management company.
  • Deep understanding of sports-specific revenue streams (broadcasting, sponsorships, ticketing) and cost structures (player salaries, event operations).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to senior, non-finance executives.
  • Proficiency in using interactive training methodologies, including case studies, simulations, and group discussions.

  • Fluency in English is essential.
