As a Testing & Commissioning Engineer at Avanceon, your responsibilities will entail:

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the reliability and functionality of automation systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues, optimize system performance, and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular system maintenance, including upgrades, backups, and configuration activities.
  • Provide training and support to operations teams on the proper use and maintenance of automation systems.
  • Document all processes, configurations, and changes related to automation systems.
  • Preparation of progress and root cause analysis reports.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Automation, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years working in the field of automation as PLC/RTU Programmer and commissioning, preferably on Water and Wastewater projects, Oil & Gas, and Infrastructures.
  • Experience in working with various PLC platforms and RTUs like Schneider M580, Rockwell Control & Compact Logix, Siemens S7-300, S7-400, S7-1500, PCS-7, WinCC SCADA, WinCC OA SCADA, and TBOX RTU.
  • Experience in working with open communication protocols used in automation like Modbus Serial, Modbus RTU, BACnet MSTP, OPC, MQQT, DNP3, etc.
  • Familiarity with control panels wirings and instrumentation.
  • Ability to read documents and drawings related to control systems, i.e., P&IDs, layouts, Control Panel Drawings, and able to troubleshoot wiring issues.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Preference for international driving license.
