Role summary

We are inviting UAE Nationals to join our General Medicines business unit as a Tender Associate. You will collaborate with commercial, legal, finance, supply and other cross‑functional teams to prepare compliant, competitive bids. This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and excellent stakeholder management. You will play a central role in supporting GSK’s commercial processes and contributing to improved access to healthcare in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full tender lifecycle for UAE public and private tenders, ensuring timely and compliant submissions.
  • Review tender documentation and translate requirements into commercial, legal and operational actions.
  • Prepare and coordinate bid documentation in collaboration with commercial, legal, finance, supply chain and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain tender calendars, monitor deadlines and coordinate submission logistics.
  • Support pricing inputs, cost modelling and alignment with commercial and financial objectives, ensuring adherence to internal pricing and discounting policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of tenders, outcomes and lessons learned to inform future bids and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with GSK policies, local procurement regulations, confidentiality and data protection requirements.
  • Provide regular reporting on tender pipeline, status and outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
Working arrangement
  • Hybrid role with regular on‑site presence at the UAE office for stakeholder engagement and collaboration. Specific on‑site expectations will be agreed with the hiring manager.
Required Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills; Arabic language skills advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
  • Sound numeracy and commercial awareness with experience contributing to pricing or costing exercises.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using bid/tender management systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare or medical supplies sector.
  • Familiarity with UAE government procurement rules and local tendering platforms.
  • Basic understanding of contract terms and compliance/legal review processes.
  • Experience working with international teams and stakeholders.
  • Procurement, tendering or project management certification.
  • Strong attention to detail and track record of delivering high‑quality submissions.
