Job summary

A leading quality management firm in Sharjah seeks an experienced professional with a strong background in SOP development and banking operations. You will be responsible for developing new standard operating procedures, collaborating with various departments, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates possess at least 5 years of experience, a relevant degree, and bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as proficiency in MS Office applications.

  • Familiarity with UAE regulatory frameworks is preferred.

Ideal Profile
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in policies and procedures
  • Proven track record in SOP and policy writing across banking operations
  • Familiarity with UAE regulatory frameworks
  • Preferably with Internal Audit or governance experience
  • Detail-oriented, collaborative and fluent in English

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities
  • Develop new SOPs and update existing SOPs to ensure compliance with quality standards, industry regulations and best practices.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) from various departments to gather information and understand existing processes.
  • Write clear, concise SOPs covering the end to end processes spanning across departments and touchpoints which are in line with the organizational process heat maps.
  • Adhere to established document standards and templates.
  • Ensure proper version control, document naming conventions, and access controls are in place.
  • Ensuring consistency, clarity, and accuracy in all SOPs.
  • Follow the established quality assurance process to review and validate SOPs for accuracy, completeness and clarity.
Profile
  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelors Degree/ Certification in quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean) preferred.
  • Experience in banking operations, process improvements, SOP writing.
  • Language Skills: Exceptional English reading/ writing/ speaking skills, English and Arabic speaker (is mandatory).
  • Computer/System/ Software Skills - MS Office Applications (Excel/ Word / PowerPoint / Project / Visio).
