Job summary

A reputable engineering consultancy in Dubai is seeking a skilled professional to lead technical aspects of pressurized networks. The role involves responsibility for master planning and hydraulic modelling, overseeing project design, and management of resources and consultants. Ideal candidates will have a BSc in Water Hydraulic or Civil Engineering, with preferable chartership and at least 15 years of experience in water transmission, distribution, and sewage networks. Expertise in civil works related to large diameter networks is essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years work experience in pressurized networks.
  • Experience in designing irrigation networks within urban areas.
  • Previous client roles are preferable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical aspects of pressurized networks from master planning.

Job description

Role Objective:

This is a Client role. It involves leading the technical aspects of pressurized networks from master planning concept and detailed design and hydraulic modelling of pressure networks including water transmission and distribution and treated sewage networks.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership and Manager of projects involving Master Planning design & Network Modelling at citywide (manpower software tools etc..
  • Management of internal resources and consultants involved in the project

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Water hydraulic or Civil Engineering BSc (MSc /PhD preferred)
  • Chartership with internationally recognized organizations.
  • Minimum of 15 years total work experience in pressurized networks including water transmission and distribution pipelines and treated sewage effluents and pump stations.
  • Experience in designing irrigation networks within urban areas is preferable.
  • Experience in large diameters 1500 mm and above) and in civil works related to large valve chambers and microtunneling techniques.
  • Experience in reviewing surge analysis studies.
