Job description

Role Objective:

This is a client-facing role involving leading the technical aspects of pressurized networks, including master planning, detailed design, and hydraulic modeling of pressure networks such as water transmission, distribution, and treated sewage networks.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical leadership and manage projects related to master planning, design, and network modeling, utilizing citywide manpower software tools.
  2. Manage internal resources and external consultants involved in the projects.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • BSc in Water Hydraulic or Civil Engineering (MSc/PhD preferred).
  • Chartered status with recognized international organizations.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in pressurized networks, including water transmission, distribution pipelines, sewage effluents, and pump stations.
  • Experience designing urban irrigation networks is preferred.
  • Experience working with large diameters (1500 mm and above) and civil works related to large valve chambers and microtunneling techniques.
  • Experience reviewing surge analysis studies.
  • Previous client-facing roles are advantageous.
  • Strong team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective time management and delivery focus.
  • Ability to handle diverse projects within water pressurized networks.
  • Experience working in the GCC region.
  • Experience in civil works related to pressurized networks.
