Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and knowledgeable Tech Evaluator. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in testing and assessing fragrance formulas ensuring that product offerings remain competitive technically sound and aligned with market trends. Collaborating closely with perfumers evaluators and marketing teams this role delivers technical insights that support fragrance development client presentations and strategic product positioning.

Key Responsibilities

Fragrance Evaluation & Sensory Analysis

• Assess and document the sensory characteristics of fragrance samples in various applications (EDP home care body care etc..)
• Assist in refining and improving fragrance compositions by providing analytical and descriptive feedback.
• Maintain detailed records of evaluation sessions formula iterations and test outcomes.

Market & Trend Analysis

• Conduct ongoing research on fragrance market trends consumer preferences and competitor benchmarks.
• Provide technical recommendations for new fragrance developments based on data and insights.
• Support marketing teams with fragrance descriptions and positioning strategies based on sensory evaluation.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with senior fragrance evaluators perfumers and R&D to support development projects.
• Participate in internal and client meetings offering sensory expertise and technical feedback.
• Coordinate with marketing and commercial teams to align fragrance recommendations with brand identity.

Quality Control & Compliance

• Ensure that all evaluated products meet internal quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Update and maintain olfactory databases and internal fragrance libraries.
• Contribute to the documentation required for safety assessments and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering Cosmetic Science or a related field.
• Proven experience (5 years) in technical evaluation within the perfume cosmetics or fragrance industry.
• Strong understanding of fragrance formulation chemistry and raw material properties.
• Experience with analytical techniques used in fragrance analysis is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to interpret complex technical data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in documentation and report writing.
