Role: Team Leader (RSS)-PF
Location: Abu Dhabi
Role Purpose:
- Managing a team and ensuring that overall responsibilities are achieved while projecting a warm image of ADIB to increase the bank's visibility in the financial market.
- Developing new strategies for the business in the respective area and building suitable plans to increase business.
Key Accountabilities of the role
- Main Responsibilities:
- To ensure that set targets are met/exceeded on time.
- Ensure the team fully adheres to ADIB policies and procedures on day-to-day business management.
- Ensure adequate leave planning for the team and effective execution.
Daily/Weekly Responsibilities:
- Ensure business is proposed/booked in accordance with ADIB policies and procedures, including Sharia compliance.
- Monitor daily activities of IFEs and ensure appropriate business management/control is in place.
- Coach the team on daily business activities to achieve monthly goals.
- Review and recommend standard credit applications and ensure the authenticity of critical documents (MRF, identification documents, bank statements, etc.).
- Update lead status on time; ensure status updates before leaving for the day.
- Monitor daily attendance; escalate regular absenteeism to SM.
- Ensure disbursement files are in order before forwarding to RFO by cross-checking customers' original documents against copies; files must be sent immediately or within one working day.
- Ensure proper handover of all customer-related files/documents before staff resigns or leaves, and arrange proper follow-up/closure of each case.
- Handle customer complaints directly; IFEs should not handle complaints directly at any point.
- Ensure all IFEs are aware of products, policies, and promotions of ADIB, and keep them updated on changes.
- Open business channels for IFEs by visiting potential employers/high-net-worth customers and introducing them to IFEs.
Monthly Responsibilities:
- Motivate high achievers by recognizing them in team meetings; create opportunities for other staff to compete for top positions in a healthy manner.
- Recognize staff training needs based on monthly performance evaluations.
- Arrange IFE training/coaching based on identified weaknesses and escalate to SM if improvement is not observed.
- Recommend disciplinary actions for those showing no improvement.
- Support SM with Al Khair STL/Settlement/Clearance/STL processes based on calls.
- Visit two ministries/departments/listed companies and provide reports to the Business Visit Report to SM.
Annual Responsibilities:
- Conduct annual appraisals and recommend staff recognition.
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:
- Familiarity with core banking and application sourcing systems.
- Exposure to Outlook, Email, and HR systems.
