About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to join the team in Sahn Eddar Lobby Lounge in Jumeirah Burj Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Supervise daily operations and guide the F&B service team to meet departmental goals and service standards.
  • Lead pre-shift briefings to communicate duties, updates, and directives from management to ensure team alignment.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members are motivated, productive, and delivering consistent guest service.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring resolution and escalation where needed.
  • Maintain accurate reports and records and conduct regular checks and audits to uphold service quality and compliance.
  • Provide expert guidance on food, beverage, and destination dining themes, ensuring a memorable guest experience.
About you

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • One or two years of experience in the same role with a strong F&B background in a 5-star luxury property or a standalone/branded restaurant.
  • Proficient in English and a second language (Russian or European languages are desirable).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Opera (Cloud), Micros and Sevenrooms.
  • Experience working in a multi‑cultural environment; confident in successfully handling complaints of various severity.
