About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Guest Relations Team Leader to join Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Present a professional and welcoming demeanor to arriving customers, efficiently allocate and seat guests, and ensure a full understanding of the sequence of service standards.
  • Manage customer complaints and feedback calmly and professionally, gather all relevant information, and communicate issues to management.
  • Manage the booking system to optimize reservations, maximize covers, and ensure efficient operation of the restaurant.
  • Have comprehensive knowledge of all products, confidently describe them to customers, and take orders accurately by asking relevant questions.
  • Handle function bookings, liaise with Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) teams and clients to ensure seamless and well‑planned events.
  • Understand and comply with local licensing laws, promote responsible alcohol service, and make simple decisions to positively impact work and customer experience.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the brand concept, history, and vision, and be able to explain these to customers when asked.
  • Complete end‑of‑day paperwork, maintain personal and professional organization, manage time effectively, and conduct training for junior colleagues as needed.
  • Work closely with the Rooms Division Assistant Guest Relations Manager and Concierge to ensure seamless guest experiences, identify guests requiring special attention, and cross‑sell F&B outlets to enhance guest experiences and generate new business.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in hospitality or related industries.
  • Experience working in a multi‑cultural environment.
  • Microsoft Office Suite software competencies.
  • Leadership and team‑management skills.
  • Problem‑solving ability.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in English.
