About the job Supply Chain Head Construction

An Abu Dhabi-based group engaged in Construction industry operates both within the UAE and internationally, emphasizing high-quality production, innovative technology, and efficient resource use.

Role Description

This full-time, on-site position for a Director of Procurement and Supply Chain involves managing daily procurement, contracts, logistics, and warehouse operations, as well as overseeing fresh produce pack house management.

The candidate will ensure seamless operations across all units, coordinating with external suppliers and other directors. They will provide necessary support using qualified resources.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Construction operations and projects

The candidate must also be adept at financial planning, evaluating project documents, and estimating cash requirements based on supplier needs and existing credit terms.

Qualifications and Experience
  • BSc Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction Engineering, or Economics preferred; MBA is a plus.
  • Certifications in Construction Operations are an advantage.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CSCP, SCOR-P, CLTD) are advantageous.
  • Minimum 10 years of senior management experience, with at least 5 years at a Director level.
  • 5-10 years of experience in sourcing Construction goods and services.
  • Extensive experience with mature and integrated ERP environments in large-scale operations.
