Job Purpose

As a Supply Chain Administrator (Receptionist), you will be responsible to execute and coordinate supply chain transportation services, ensure that best supply chain techniques are adopted to achieve lowest cost of operations, with achieving the service levels agreed within Emirates Airlines. This will include coordination with Government bodies agencies such as Customs, Dubai Municipality, and Chamber of commerce. Where appropriate, these functions should be done in close co-operation with customer and support departments.

In This Role, You Will
  • Provide support to the Supply Chain Officer by executing and coordinating agreed strategies in goods movements across Emirates Supply Chains.
  • Monitor and coordinate the compliance of transportation operations in terms of cross border regulation, customs laws, and legal certificate requirements.
  • Support all ad-hoc request, with sending tender/quotation to three suppliers, propose the final recommendation with highlighting the cost reduction and the service level.
  • Support the development of tender documents from the Procurement team and facilitate cross-functional (inter-departmental) teams to produce detailed specifications (where appropriate, in conjunction with Legal, Insurance and User departments) and to subsequently issue for tender to obtain equal and competitive quotations.
  • Generate/review with the buyers, activity and performance reports in order to ensure that the section is functioning efficiently and identify to P&L Manager/Manager P&L, areas where their intervention may be required.
  • Monitor suppliers compliance and performance with contract terms and conditions, deliver routine attestations and reports.
  • Manage contract library and control document access. Ensure consistent record retention with a view to establishing a shared repository with suppliers.
  • Facilitate timely problem resolution of contractual issues to minimise impact of service disruptions on Emirates, Coordinate appropriate reviews (including legal, Finance etc.)
Qualification
  • 12 years schooling or equivalent.

  • Experience with exposure to supporting major capital acquisitions and service contract tenders and leading negotiations.
