Qualifications

• Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in cost analysis, especially in Oil & Gas sector.
• GCC Experience: 7+ years in subcontract engineering within the oil & gas sector.
• Familiarity with EPC Projects, offshore/onshore operations and contracting standards.

Overview

We are looking for a Subcontract Engineer for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Expected start date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 24 Months

Qualification and Experience Required

• Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in cost analysis, especially in Oil & Gas sector
• GCC Experience: 7+ years of experience in subcontract engineering within the oil & gas sector
• Proficient in contract law, negotiation techniques and risk management
• Experience in EPC Project planning and cost estimation
• UAE Experience is preferred, strong cost analysis, negotiation, communication skills
• Familiarity with EPC Projects, offshore/onshore operations and relevant contracting standards
• Master\'s degree

Tasks

• Source, evaluate and manage subcontractors/vendors, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
• Support market/bidding activities: Collaborate with the Marketing Team to prepare competitive bids, obtain subcontractor quotations, and provide cost estimates.
• Analyze project requirements, align subcontractor deliverables with timelines, and resolve technical/operational issues
• Ensure compliance in subcontracting agreements, documentation, and industry standards.
• Track market trends and optimize subcontracting costs.
• Familiarity with bid processes and project management tools.
• Review, analyze, and evaluate subcontractor bids for technical and commercial compliance.
• Participate in subcontract negotiations and finalization of contractual terms and conditions.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and manage changes, claims, and disputes.
• Maintain documentation and reports related to subcontracting activities.
• Prepare Daily, Weekly and Monthly progress reports and dashboards for bid evaluation and progress tracking.
