About the Role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Structural Inspector – Site to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of construction projects through on‑site inspections and evaluations.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough on‑site inspections of structural elements in buildings projects
  • Verify compliance with local building codes, regulations, and approved plans
  • Identify structural defects, safety hazards, and non‑compliant work
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address structural issues
  • Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
  • Utilize inspection equipment and tools to assess structural integrity
  • Provide recommendations for corrective actions when necessary
  • Stay updated on local building codes and industry best practices
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders
What do we need from you
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural inspection or related field with 3 years minimum consultancy experience.
  • In‑depth knowledge of building codes and regulations, particularly in Abu Dhabi and the UAE
  • Proficiency in structural inspection techniques and methodologies
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Extensive knowledge of construction materials and methods
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in using inspection equipment and tools
  • Computer skills for report writing and data management
  • Understanding of structural engineering principles and practices
  • Detail‑oriented approach with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment
  • Willingness to work on‑site and travel to various project locations in Abu Dhabi
