As Store Manager of Hamleys Atlantis, The Palm, you will be the custodian of the Hamleys DNA: delivering magic, theatre, and world-class retail experiences that bring joy to children and families from across the globe.

The role requires a commercially driven leader who can balance high performance with exceptional customer experiences. You will be accountable for day-to-day operations, the performance of your team, and achieving ambitious commercial targets while embodying the spirit and heritage of Hamleys.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead all store operations with a relentless focus on commercial performance and customer experience.
  • Ensure world-class standards in visual merchandising, store presentation, and atmosphere, befitting the prestige of Atlantis.
  • Manage inventory and stock flow, ensuring bestsellers are always available and aging stock is effectively managed.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to senior management and buying teams, sharing insights on product performance, customer preferences, and emerging trends.
  • Uphold company policies, standards, and procedures while instilling a culture of ownership and accountability.
  • Drive sales performance and deliver against set KPIs and budget objectives.
  • Maintain tight control of store P&L, costs, and cash management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing a high-profile, high-performing retail store (luxury, premium, or experiential retail preferred).
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with a proven record of building and motivating winning teams.
  • Commercially astute with strong reporting and analytical ability.
  • Highly presentable, polished, and confident in engaging with an international clientele.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, resilience, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
