Staff Nurse - Labor, Delivery, and Recovery

  • Responsible for ensuring that the nursing process of diagnosis, analysis, planning, execution and evaluation of the patient's care remains in partnership with the family and in accordance with the organization\'s policies and procedures and scope of service.
  • Show accountability for own professional reasoning, actions, outcomes of care and ongoing skills.
  • Acknowledge the boundaries of your scope of practice and limitations of your own proficiency.
  • Under supervision and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, ensure that the delivery of patient care from first contact through the episode of treatment incorporates the continuum of care and rehabilitation goals.
  • Recognize significant changes or deterioration in patient conditions, initiate appropriate action within the scope of practice, and escalate concerns promptly and appropriately.
  • Take reasonable steps to safeguard children or adults at risk of harm, neglect, or abuse, and raise concerns as needed.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of resource intake and practices within a budget-friendly framework.
  • Work closely with families to ensure they are included in all aspects of care where appropriate.

Demands

  • At least 3 years of experience in a large hospital or rehabilitation facility within the Labor, Delivery and Recovery Unit.
  • Bachelor degree in Nursing.
  • Available to join immediately.
  • Ready to work 12 hours per shift or 48 hours per week.
  • Due to the current circumstance, only candidates based in the UAE will be considered.
