Job summary

A leading technology solutions firm in Dubai is seeking a Sr. Product Manager for Compute Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will manage technical solutioning related to servers, storage, and virtualization, ensuring alignment with customer requirements. Key responsibilities include collaboration with sales teams, conducting product demonstrations, and managing OEM certifications. Candidates must have extensive experience in system integration and relevant technical certifications. This role is crucial in delivering robust solutions to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 – 15 years’ experience in large system integration.
  • Certifications on Cloud technologies will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Sales team to provide Product and Presales assistance.
  • Illustrate the solution's value to prospects.
  • Participate in RFI/RFP documents, bid coordination, and product demonstrations.
  • Help Sales close deals on a technical basis.

Job description
Job Purpose:

Sr. Product Manager – Compute Infrastructure is responsible for the technical solutioning on servers, storage, virtualization, Backup and related services. Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the solution as per the customer requirements. Works to define the product vision andaff satisfaction goals are met


Responsibilities


  • Work closely with the Sales team to provide full Product and Presales assistance in support of the successful achievement of sales targets.

  • Illustrate the value of the company's solution to prospects in a compelling manner.

  • Responsible for aligning company's capabilities (products and services) # client business requirements through a professional and ethical business approach

  • Participate in the completion of submitted RFI/RFP documents, bid coordination, prospect qualification, discovery and requirements gathering, product demonstrations, technical discussions, and design solution proposals.

  • Promote and support sales opportunities into existing accounts and help to ensure that customers are successful in their objectives.

  • Involve in Proof-Of-Concept (POC) activities in order to assist sales in closing deals

  • Work closely with Marketing to generate leads and opportunities

  • Current Products that needs to be handled are HPE, DELL EMC, Nutanix, VMWARE, Commvault, Cohesity etc.

  • Provide product Trainings to Internal Sales Teams

  • Commercial Discussions with Principals, if required

  • Discussions with OEM teams on Regular basis

  • Liaising with Distributors for Product Availability and Prices

  • Help Sales close the deals on balm technical grounds if required



  • Competitive Analysis

  • Manage the OEM partnership certifications and track the revenue threshold with each OEM

  • Commvault CVSA Preferred

  • Server & Storage Certified

  • Backup Solution (Commvault / Cohesity / VEEAM) Technical Certification
