Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of drafting experience, with at least 5 years in contracting companies within the UAE/GCC.
• Proven experience in preparing coordination drawings for multi-disciplinary projects.
• Familiarity with UAE/GCC construction standards and authority guidelines.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and detailed shop drawings for mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing and firefighting.
• Develop coordination drawings integrating architectural structural and MEP services to ensure clash-free installation on site.
• Review design drawings and specifications to ensure compliance and constructability.
• Coordinate with engineers site teams and other draftsmen to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Maintain version control of drawings and ensure timely submission of updated layouts.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to company drafting standards and UAE/GCC authority regulations.
• Modify and update drawings based on site instructions RFIs and mark-ups from the engineering team.
• Support site execution teams with necessary technical drawing inputs and clarifications.

Key Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Engineering or relevant technical field.
• Minimum of 8 years of drafting experience with at least 5 years in contracting companies within the UAE/GCC.
• Strong expertise in AutoCAD and a solid understanding of mechanical systems.
• Proven experience in preparing coordination drawings for multi-disciplinary projects.
• Familiarity with UAE/GCC construction standards and authority guidelines.
• Excellent attention to detail time management and communication skills.
• Must be available to join within 2 weeks.
