Erada Center for Treatment and Rehab in Dubai was established based on the vision of H.H Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and by the initiative of H.H Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum. It aims to treat the disease of substance use disorders and alcohol addiction which negatively impact the wellbeing of individuals, families and society.

Erada Center is a governmental entity committed to offer treatment and rehab services; promote awareness about addiction and to contribute in the scientific research in the field of addiction.

Job Summary

Provide the highest level of patient care in coordination with the medical team. The role includes collaborating with general physicians, pharmacists, nursing staff, the rehabilitation team, and the neuro-stimulation team to achieve treatment goals.

Specialized Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop integrated treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
  2. Provide medical consultations for addiction cases, rehabilitation programs, and relapse-prevention strategies.
  3. Participate in research studies related to psychiatry and addiction, with the aim of publishing findings in scientific journals.
  4. Prepare accurate and comprehensive medical reports that meet therapeutic and legal requirements.
  5. Participate in training healthcare professionals, including medical students, through teaching in training and educational programs, such as Continuing Medical Education (CME).
  6. Contribute to community awareness programs and participate in outreach initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Arab Board, UAE Board, or an equivalent qualification (e.g., Master’s or PhD in Psychiatry).
Work Experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in general psychiatry, preferably with experience in addiction treatment.
  • Valid professional license from the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) or an equivalent regulatory body in UAE.
Core Competencies
  • Advanced knowledge of psychiatry and its clinical applications.
  • Strong skills in psychological assessment and professional report writing.
  • Proficiency in working with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
