About the Job

Provide technical support to the chartering team ensuring that all formalities are completed for the chartering activities.

Job Specific Accountabilities
  • Assist in activities relating to the chartering in / out of ships, providing administrative and technical support.
  • Prepare related documentation in order to meet requirements for ship utilization in line with standards and requirements.
  • Provide technical and administrative assistance during the negotiation phase of the terms of charter to ensure achievement of terms and conditions commercially favorable and that terms and conditions meet requirements.
  • Prepare reports and document and file relevant market information and ensure that required information is made available in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain database and contact details of internal and external parties. Receive and advise information as instructed for smooth flow of chartering activities.
  • Coordinate with Gas Operations team to monitor the daily operation of LPG and LNG vessels in the fleet related to voyage and performance.
Minimum Requirements
  • University degree in a commercial discipline or equivalent qualification.
  • 5‑10 years relevant and principal experience in the energy sector working with an international oil company / owner / operator / cargo trader dealing.
Professional Certifications
  • Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (preferred).
