Overview
As the first point of contact for our esteemed guests, the Spa Receptionist plays a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and serene atmosphere. You will be responsible for managing all front desk operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences, and supporting the spa's overall efficiency. We are looking for a professional, warm, and highly organized individual with a passion for guest care and holistic wellness.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Services: Warmly greet and welcome all guests and members, providing a professional and courteous first impression.
- Provide detailed information about spa services, treatments, facilities, and packages, both in person and over the phone.
- Handle guest inquiries and feedback with professionalism and empathy, escalating concerns to supervisors when necessary.
- Give tours of the spa facilities as required.
- Operations Management: Manage incoming phone calls and emails promptly and professionally, directing them to the appropriate person or department.
- Schedule and confirm appointments using the spa's booking system (e.g., SpaSoft).
- Process check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
- Collect payments for services rendered and operate the point-of-sale system accurately.
- Ensure the reception area is organized, tidy, and presentable at all times.
- Coordinate with therapists and other staff to optimize service delivery and schedules.
- Maintain inventory and stocking of all reception materials and assist in maintaining office files/records.
- Sales & Marketing Support: Upsell spa products and services to enhance client experiences.
- Coordinate sales packets and assist in the administration and implementation of retail sales strategies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably within a luxury hotel or spa environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English are a must.
- Computer literate with knowledge of spa reservation systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Professional appearance and a positive, approachable attitude are essential.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
- A personal interest in spa treatments and a holistic lifestyle is a plus.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
Work Location: Dubai
