A leading financial data and analytics firm in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Solutions Architect to support revenue growth and retention. The role involves ensuring a positive client experience, providing training, and serving as a primary contact for clients regarding datafeed solutions. Candidates should have 4+ years of experience in a similar role and a relevant Bachelor's degree. Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with financial data platforms are essential. The position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth.

The Solutions Architect supports revenue growth and retention within an assigned geographic region by ensuring a positive client experience throughout the entire sales cycle. The incumbent is responsible for making sure that clients are able to maximize utilization of our products from a content and technical standpoint.
The Solutions Architect organization has responsibility for pre‑ and post‑sales client service and is the primary contact of end users of Channels Data Delivery Solutions products (Xpressfeed, API, Cloud Services).
Primary problem‑solving challenges for this position revolve around an understanding of the client's business and how S&P Global Market Intelligence (GMI) products can add value to this business, as well as the challenges related to hardware/software installation and training. The incumbent’s ability to solve the myriad problems related to product installation, training and use is critical to success in the position and thus to S&P GMI’s overall success in growing the business and retaining existing business.
Excellent communication, training and analytical skills. Finance knowledge and/or experience (equities and/or fixed income). Familiarity with cloud services, relational databases and programming languages.
Act as a product specialist for S&P GMI’s datafeed solutions from a data and delivery standpoint, and assist Sales in opportunities so that clients understand what data we have, how to use it, and how to ingest our data. Deploy these feed solutions at client sites, ensure that our software is configured to work with the client’s environment, and work with our internal and the client’s technical support staff as needed.
Serve as a primary regional information source for clients about what is available (or may be planned) from S&P GMI and how it might fit their needs. Working with Sales to help qualify and understand the needs of prospective clients.
