Position Summary
The Soft Services Manager will oversee and manage all soft services operations across the group facilities. This includes cleaning, security, waste management, landscaping, pest control, façade cleaning, and parking management. The role ensures service delivery in compliance with contractual SLA/KPI requirements, quality standards, and local regulations while leading large teams and vendor partners to achieve operational excellence and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all soft services FM operations across assigned sites, ensuring smooth day-to-day delivery.
- Develop and implement the yearly soft services planner based on site conditions and business needs.
- Manage specialized contractors in façade cleaning, pest control, waste management, landscaping, and parking management.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure SLA/KPI targets are achieved.
- Handle emergency situations, incidents, and escalations promptly and effectively.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor operational performance and compliance.
- Maintain operation performance reports, audit documents, and ensure readiness for external/internal inspections.
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, HSE standards, and building guidelines.
- Monitor and control consumables, materials, and equipment usage as per approved budgets.
- Develop and implement training programs and toolbox talks for site manpower to ensure compliance with SOPs.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate staff performance, including performance appraisals and development plans.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on quality assurance and client satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ managerial experience in the facility management industry, specifically in soft services.
- Extensive knowledge of housekeeping, security, waste management, landscaping, pest control, façade cleaning, and parking management.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with experience in leading large teams across multiple service lines.
- In-depth understanding of local regulations, QHSE, and authority requirements.
- Proficiency in CAFM systems (Yardi, Maximo, or similar).
- Strong client management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Certifications such as BICS (British Institute of Cleaning Science) or SIRA (Security Industry Regulatory Agency) are preferred
