PURPOSE / DETAILS OF THE JOB
This role is critical in the development of the regional Retailer Marketing Strategy, setting priorities and activities that directly result in increased showroom traffic and retail sales. A key goal for this position will be to ensure each dealer has a robust and integrated marketing plan that best complements Tier 1 marketing plans. While working on uplifting the regional Social Media Operations including the regional partner’s performance As the Social & Retail Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving brand visibility, engagement and conversion across digital and retail touchpoints. You will lead the development and execution of social media Always-On, influencer collaborations and retail marketing initiatives that align with Nissan’s regional strategy and deliver measurable results across the region but also ensure partners have robust plans to complement Tier 1 marketing plans.
Main tasks and responsibilities (Including team management if any) :
- Retail Marketing : Ensuring integrated approach to NMEF / NSC communicationsStreamlining NSC marketing plans alignment with NMEF BP planning Coordination, approval, support and governance of NSC Marketing activities Market Visits to promote efficiencies for both NMEF and NSC in activity and budget Adhoc Projects to promote sustained profitability at NSC; eg. Run-Out / Recovery plans, local activations, Tier2 and Tier3 Progression of : Retail Marketing Guidelines, Regional Quaterly Outlook, Retail M&S MeetingsCo-Op fund management & ensuring of budgets being planned and spent in due timeDrive footfall and conversion at dealerships through seasonal / tactical campaigns;Ensure visibility on performance and spend per market to report internally in monthly PRMs
- Social media technical and marketing craft : Manage regional Social Media channels (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Snap etc) to grow audience engagement and reachHighly analytical and strong understanding of platform performance metrics through the use of our social toolConstant knowledge & learning in the latest trends / features of all platforms and liaise with partners and creative agencies to ensure best-in-class content and performance Provide direction and relevant insights to guide social media efforts and integrated marketing communications planningMonitor Nissan competition in social and be aware of market changes and developmentsResponsible to ensure regional social media strategy is cascaded and aligned with all partners to ensure consistent communication across Nissan;Audit all partners’ social media pages to ensure guidelines are adhered to, tone of voice respected & the brand is represented correctly and consistentlyEnsure learnings on social media performance, trends and sentiment are taken into account and studied to guide decision-making and optimize standard
- Internal Integration : Ensure that all parties (within NMEF Marcomm) are strategically aligned across all platforms to deliver the best social marketing solutionsBe the point of contact when it comes to everything social internally and with all our partners to satisfy NMEF ambition on owning Brand LoveClose coordination with the Retail manager to ensure the right synergies are built and all partners are up-to speed with SocialCoordinate with CMM, Sales & PR on both Retail and Social to ensure all adheres to the brand is aligned
Background & SKILLS REQUIRED
- 8 - 10 yrs experience
- Experience in the Middle East
- Previous experience in Automotive is preferred with a focus in Marketing specifically on Social
- Strong understanding of the region and cultural triggers
- Experience managing agencies and budgets
- Data-driven, creative and organized
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge in paid media specifically on Social – how to read media plans, KPIs and how to allocate the right budgets based on the different platforms
- MS Office, mainly PPT & Excel (advance)
- Knowledge in lead management
- Knowledge in project management
- Experience in managing social tools
- Experience in analysing, AB testing and generating findings to improve current approach
Minimum Education
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing communications
Language Requirements
Fluent in Business English; Arabic speaker is required
