Responsibilities

• Carry out minor periodic service maintenance.
• Repair or replace worn and faulty parts.
• Perform Vehicle Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI).
• Use diagnostic scanning tools to read and erase faults.
• Assist repair and diagnostic technicians when required.
• Update technical knowledge through training.
• Maintain an inventory of standard technician tools.
• Provide clear write-ups of tasks performed.
• Coordinate with Workshop Controller to obtain required parts.
• Adhere to health, safety, and quality standards.

Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that every vehicle is serviced, repaired, and maintained to the highest standards, delivering quality that meets both customer and brand expectations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out minor periodic service maintenance in line with MG Guidelines & IEM SOP.
• Repair or replace worn and faulty parts as per job order.
• Perform Vehicle Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI).
• Use diagnostic scanning tools (VDS) to read and erase faults.
• Assist repair and diagnostic technicians when required.
• Continuously update technical knowledge through formal training sessions.
• Maintain an inventory of standard technician tools.
• Provide clear write-ups of tasks performed and escalate safety-related issues.
• Clock in/out for assigned job orders as per standard procedure.
• Coordinate with Workshop Controller and Parts Advisor to obtain required parts.
• Follow superior’s instructions and company SOPs at all times.
• Maintain professional appearance, positive attitude, and organized work area.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Education: High Diploma in Mechanics.
• Certification: Brand Advanced Technician Qualification Certification (mandatory).
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in a similar role.
• Languages: Fluency in English is essential; Arabic preferred.
• Skills & Abilities: Computer literate; knowledge of telephone and workshop systems preferred.
