Black & Grey HR is recruiting a Service Engineer for General Machinery for a reputed client in the industrial machinery sector. The role focuses on the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of general industrial machines. It combines technical field service responsibilities with customer interaction and promotion of Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).

Responsibilities:

1. Install and commission industrial machinery at customer sites, ensuring setup and performance standards are met.
2. Provide operational training to machine operators and maintenance staff.
3. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable machine operation.
4. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues.
5. Replace faulty components and make adjustments to restore machine functionality.
6. Deliver remote and on-site technical support to clients.
7. Resolve service requests promptly and professionally.
8. Build strong customer relationships and deliver high levels of service.
9. Identify service opportunities and promote AMCs during client interactions.
10. Generate and follow up on AMC leads and renewals.
11. Stay current on machine upgrades and new technologies.
12. Attend training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

1. Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
2. 2-5 years of experience in servicing general industrial machinery.
3. Proficiency in mechanical systems maintenance and fault diagnostics.
4. Basic understanding of electrical and control systems is a plus.
5. Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
6. Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
7. Willingness to travel for field service.
