Job summary

A global engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced engineer for a site-based role in electrical commissioning. The position requires at least 10 years of experience in power generation projects and proficiency in DCS/SCADA systems. Responsibilities include planning and executing commissioning tasks, coordinating energization of systems, and preparing documentation. This is a contract role lasting approximately 18 months.

Qualifications

• 10+ years commissioning experience on power generation projects.
• Strong understanding of DCS/SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute commissioning of electrical and I&C systems.
• Coordinate energization of HV/MV/LV systems and protection tests.
• Supervise loop checks, logic tests and functional tests for DCS/PLC.
• Support grid synchronization, performance and reliability runs.
• Prepare commissioning dossiers and handover documents.
