Job Summary :

The Senior Specialist Engineering Solution is a subject matter expert who understands the defense market and can differentiate the most compliant and competitive technology suppliers for defense projects. They should have good supplier relationships and understand products related to weapons, ammunitions, missiles, unmanned systems, and subsystems.

Key Accountabilities :

You will act as a Subject Matter Expert for applications such as weapons, ammunitions, missiles, and subsystems to evaluate the most compliant and competitive technology suppliers for defense projects.

Assess client RFP technical requirements and identify suitable products and solutions.

Conduct supplier technical reviews, evaluations, and perform technical bid analysis.

Work with the procurement team to develop and implement sourcing strategies supporting the procurement of technical components, materials, and services.

Collaborate closely with end users and internal stakeholders (BD, bid manager, proposal lead, contract) to understand technical requirements and specifications.

Attend exhibitions, manage relationships with key suppliers, monitor market trends, and lead benchmarking activities.

Experience & Education Qualifications :

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.

Minimum 10 to 12 years of experience in a technical role.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.

Solid understanding of solution bid management processes and best practices.

Good knowledge of the aerospace and defense industry, clients, products, services, and processes.

Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
