Job summary

A leading Emirati construction company is seeking a Project Manager – Underground Cable Projects to lead EHV underground cable projects in Abu Dhabi. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and at least 15 years of related experience. Candidates should possess strong technical knowledge and project management skills, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and client requirements. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, with familiarity in managing multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of experience in EHV underground cable projects (400 kV / 220 kV / 132 kV).
• PMP certification is an advantage.
• Strong technical knowledge of EHV cable systems.
• Familiarity with TRANSCO, DEWA, ADDC, ADNOC specifications.

Responsibilities

• Managing the full project lifecycle including design review and procurement.
• Coordinating with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for timely execution.
• Preparing and controlling project schedules and budgets.
• Leading site teams for cable laying and associated works.
• Enforcing compliance with HSE policies and quality standards.
