Senior Pricing Actuary Job Overview

The Senior Pricing Actuary / Analyst will involve assessing reinsurance treaties, developing and pricing products, and ensuring compliance with professional standards, while supporting cross-functional teams.

What you do :

• Assess reinsurance treaties, including setting prices, guidelines, and authority levels.
• Develop products, including benefit design and pricing.
• Evaluate the impact of changes in benefits, guidelines, and regulations.
• Set key actuarial assumptions such as medical trends, IBNR, and seasonality factors.
• Underwrite large tenders and key accounts.
• Conduct experience analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop, test, and maintain pricing tools used for underwriting.
• Perform peer reviews of colleagues' work.
• Prepare executive summaries and detailed pricing notes, documenting methodologies properly.
• Uphold professional standards in technical work and communicate findings to management or clients.
• Support sales and business development teams in client negotiations.
• Engage with claims, policy administration, and tariff management teams.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance standards.
• Streamline existing processes and develop new ones.
• Train and onboard new team members.

What you bring :

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong skills in Word and VBA.
• Experience with Power BI or Alteryx is beneficial.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
