Job summary

A global engineering firm is seeking a Commissioning Superintendent Mechanical for a PMC project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and have at least 17 years of relevant commissioning experience, particularly in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects. Responsibilities include reviewing commissioning manuals, verifying completion certificates, and participating in meetings. This is a critical role for overseeing project readiness and ensuring compliance with contractual documents.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 17 years of relevant experience in commissioning or operation readiness.
• At least 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
• Experience in GCC region preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review commissioning manuals issued by EPC Contractor or Vendors.
• Verify mechanical completion certificates for various systems.
• Participate in commissioning and troubleshooting meetings.
• Monitor and approve close out of punch lists.
