Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer in Sharjah to support the startup and performance testing of mechanical systems in a Waste to Energy facility. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and significant experience in commissioning and testing mechanical systems. Demonstrated knowledge of power generation practices and a strong background in Waste to Energy projects are essential. This position does not allow remote work and is contract-based.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of power generation commissioning practices.
• Strong background in mechanical systems startup and testing.
• 15 years in commissioning with recent experience in Waste to Energy or industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Review and develop commissioning plans and documentation.
• Execute mechanical commissioning and monitor system performance.
• Coordinate with EPC and O&M teams for a seamless handover.
