Black Pearl is partnering with a leading engineering firm to recruit a dynamic Sustainability Strategy Lead to drive their ESG agenda and champion long-term environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute the corporate sustainability strategy including decarbonization climate adaptation circular economy
• Lead the full sustainability reporting cycle (data collection materiality assessments stakeholder engagement assurance) in line with GRI CDP SASB and UN SDG frameworks
• Manage and improve ESG ratings certifications and disclosures (MSCI ESG Sustainalytics EcoVadis etc.)
• Oversee multi-year cross-functional initiatives (renewable energy integration energy & water efficiency sustainable procurement waste reduction employee engagement)
• Leverage digital ESG tracking and analytics tools to drive performance improvements

Requirements

• 4 years of sustainability experience in utilities or energy/water sectors blending strategy-consulting and corporate roles
• Proven track record designing and implementing corporate sustainability and decarbonization strategies
• Hands-on expertise with end-to-end sustainability reporting and materiality assessments
• Experience managing ESG ratings/certifications and enhancing disclosure quality
• Strong program-management skills and the ability to engage senior stakeholders
• Bachelor s in Engineering Environmental Science Business (Master s preferred)
