Responsibilities

• Oversee geotechnical investigations and risk assessments


• Prepare clear technical reports and recommendations


• Conduct slope stability, bearing capacity, settlement, and foundation analyses for quarry and infrastructure projects.


• Oversee laboratory testing programmes and interpret results.


• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement in geotechnical practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering


• 8+ years’ relevant experience (mining/quarrying preferred)


• Strong knowledge of soil and rock mechanics, foundation engineering, and ground improvement techniques.


• Proficiency with geotechnical software (e.g., GeoStudio, Plaxis) and field testing equipment.
