Job Responsibilities
- Production planning, scheduling and execution
- Review project BOQ, technical drawings and scope to define activities, materials, tools and dependencies
- Breakdown of BOQ into work packages, manpower plans, and timelines
- Estimation and labor hour calculations.
- Prepare manpower loading sheets and shift plans based on effort hours and deadlines
- Create detailed production schedules
- Coordination with procurement and vendors for timely material delivery
- Coordinate with joinery, paint, print/graphics, electrical, and on-site installation teams to deliver on time to exact specification.
- Raise internal requests for additional manpower/equipment when needed with justification of need
- Run daily checks and track progress v/s plan
- Control overtime and minimize rework
- Prepare installation sequence, site method statements and HSE plans
- Coordinate build-up, rigging, utilities, and venue permissions
- Ensure adherence to venue regulations, load-in/out schedules, and safety standards.
- Prepare client handover documentation.
- Quality assurance & snag management.
- Problem-solving under time pressure.
- Prepare post-project reports, productivity, and cost variances v/s BOQ budget
Skills
Qualification and Experience
- Diploma/Degree in Interior/Exhibition Design, Architecture, Civil/Mechanical, or related.
- 3-5 years in exhibition stand production/fit-out, including site build-ups (GCC experience preferred).
- Strong reading of technical drawings (AutoCAD).
- Proven experience converting BOQs into manpower and time plans.
- Familiar with materials such as MDF, veneer, acrylic, aluminum, steel, glass, vinyl graphics, and lighting.
- Basic knowledge HSE, and MEP for stands.
