About the Role

As Senior Events Manager, you will lead the Events Team to deliver successful catering events and group functions. You will collaborate with the Director of Sales to drive business opportunities and maintain strong client relationships. You will ensure smooth coordination across departments and uphold exceptional event standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plans and execute proactive selling on catering segments, and report on new ideas and potential areas/accounts for business development.
  • Able to manage and plan proactive and reactive sales strategies, customer sales visits, presentations and other proactive campaigns.
  • Secure and nurture relationships with corporate clients, local businesses, and high-profile guests to drive bookings and revenue.
  • Analyze market trends and review competition ensuring implementation of proactive sales strategies to meet the market changes.
  • Meet with major events' organizer during the pre-and-post events to understand market trends, needs, and their expectations. Set appropriate expectations and ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor prospective and tentative events movements to assist in accurate forecasting of revenue.
  • Able to analyze past leads and translate into future strategies and sales activities for the benefit of the hotel.
About You
  • A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the luxury hospitality sector.
  • A degree in Hospitality Management. A high school diploma and relevant experience are a must.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales, achieve revenue targets and has sound understanding of the local market and competitor landscape.
  • Familiarity with Events operations, sales strategies, and techniques.
  • Strong network with corporates, MICE, DMCs and other agencies in United Arab Emirates.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills. People-oriented, outgoing, and self-motivated with a proactive approach.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English.
