Job description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Site Engineer-MEP to oversee and manage all on-site electrical works for building and infrastructure projects. The role involves supervising installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems while ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute electrical works at site in accordance with drawings, specifications, and approved shop drawings.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other disciplines (mechanical, civil, architectural) to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor installation of electrical systems including:
• Power distribution (LV/MV panels, cabling, wiring, DBs)
• Lighting and small power
• Fire alarm, ELV, and emergency systems
• Earthing and lightning protection
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (DEWA, DCD, SIRA, etc.) and international standards (IEC, NFPA, BS, etc.).
• Review and verify material submittals, method statements, and work inspection requests (WIRs).
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and highlight site issues to the Project Engineer/Manager.
• Supervise testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Ensure proper implementation of HSE standards at site.
• Assist in resolving technical site issues and coordinate with design engineers for clarifications.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• With 8-10 years’ experience in MEP construction projects (residential, commercial, or high-rise).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, drawings, and authority requirements.
• Familiarity with testing & commissioning procedures.
• Excellent coordination and site supervision skills.

Pay: AED16,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
