Summary

The Senior Document Controller is a key member of the project team responsible for independently implementing and managing digital records and document control procedures. This role ensures that project information is organized accessible and compliant with established standards. Also supports junior staff contributes to team coordination and plays a critical role in quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities
  • Independently set up and manage digital records and document control systems in alignment with project requirements and organisational standards.
  • Implement and oversee digitised administrative procedures including the circulation upload and download of project deliverables and communications.
  • Maintain project record platforms to ensure all documentation is trackable traceable and accessible to authorised stakeholders.
  • Perform routine and complex information management tasks with minimal supervision applying sound judgment and initiative.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members and coordinate small team activities as needed.
  • May be responsible for onboarding training and reviewing the work of lower-level employees.
  • Lead QA/QC reviews of project documentation in collaboration with originators to ensure compliance with naming conventions version control and sign-off protocols.
