The Role
Responsible for the development through all stages of landscape design deliverables, technical reviews, generation of information, assessment, program management, documentation, research and including site coordination. Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and supervise the development and preparation of landscape design and construction plans, specifications, estimates and related contract documents, reporting to the line manager and coordinating with stakeholders for design and landscaping requirements.
• Ensure technical excellence, regulatory compliance and timely delivery of all landscape projects within budget and contractual obligations.
• Develop aesthetic design and practical technical solutions for the planning of external spaces including hardscapes, softscapes, streetscapes and more. Project types may include urban space planning, commercial developments, residential communities, industrial sites, public open spaces, parks, resorts, hotels and leisure facilities.
• Liaise closely with Project Managers, Discipline Leads, internal and external teams including master planners, architects, urban designers, specialist consultants, engineering disciplines and quantity surveyors.
• Manage the procurement of consultants, including preparation of detailed RFP documents in coordination with commercial teams, and carry out precise technical evaluations of bidder proposals.
• Deliver high-quality in-house design studies and test fits that require detailed landscaping design input.
• Provide advanced technical solutions and prepare complete technical packages from Concept Design through to Design Development, Final Design, Tender and Construction Contract Documentation, working in close coordination with allied technical disciplines.

Requirements

• A degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in landscape design management in a senior role for 10 years.
• Proven developer ability to manage projects through all stages of design and construction.
• Expert knowledge of project documentation QA / QC and local AUH authority regulations.
• Proven UAE experience with a leading Developer is essential and candidate must have an excellent grasp of building considerations.
• Strong competency in use of design software's - AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit or equivalent, MS Office.
