Job summary

A well-established Engineering Consultancy firm in Dubai seeks an experienced Chief Accountant to lead their finance function. You will be responsible for overseeing the full accounting cycle, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and optimizing financial performance. The ideal candidate will have 8–12 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on engineering consultancy or construction projects. Qualifications

• Minimum 8–12 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 4–5 years in engineering consultancy or construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, contract costing, and revenue recognition.
• Solid experience in UAE VAT and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including AR, AP, GL, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage project-based accounting and revenue recognition for engineering consultancy contracts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
