Job summary

A leading company in finance is seeking a Chief Accountant in Dubai to supervise daily accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger. This role ensures timely month-end closing while adhering to IFRS standards and maintaining financial integrity. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, ideally with ACCA or CPA qualifications, and have 5–6 years of supervisory accounting experience with strong ERP skills.

Qualifications

• 5–6+ years in accounting including supervisory experience in AR/AP/GL systems.
• Strong ERP system experience and advanced Excel & reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day AR, AP, and GL accounting activities.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal accounting standards.
• Prepare and review balance sheet schedules, account reconciliations, and inter-company transactions.
