Second Mate (Part-Time) - El-Fujairah, UAE

We are looking for an experienced Egyptian Second Mate to join our team in El‑Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be part of a maritime crew responsible for the navigation and safety of the vessel. This is a part‑time position with visa sponsorship and accommodation provided.

Responsibilities

• Navigate vessel according to established regulations and procedures
• Monitor weather conditions and adjust course accordingly
• Supervise the safe loading/unloading of cargo
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on board the vessel as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and other regulations at all times
• Manage crew members and delegate tasks accordingly
• Remain alert at all times for any potential hazards or signs of distress from other ships or persons in the water

Requirements

• Valid Second Mate License issued by a recognized maritime authority
• Proven experience working in a similar position (minimum 3 years)
• Good knowledge of navigation rules and regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Physically fit for strenuous work aboard vessels
• Preference given to Egyptian nationals
