Job Summary
A leading commercial vehicles and heavy equipment trading company in the UAE is hiring a Sales Specialist to grow revenue and expand market presence across the UAE. This role is ideal for an experienced sales professional with a proven track record selling commercial vehicles and/or heavy equipment to corporate and individual buyers. The role requires strong client acquisition capability, product knowledge, and full-cycle sales execution — from prospecting to closing — while building sustainable long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Drive sales growth across commercial vehicles and heavy equipment categories within the UAE.
- Build and execute a structured sales plan focused on new customer acquisition and revenue expansion.
- Source new business through prospecting, client visits, cold outreach, referrals, and marketplace inquiries.
- Conduct consultative selling: understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles/equipment.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and terms, and close deals effectively.
- Identify upsell opportunities and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified leads.
Account Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with fleet operators, contractors, logistics companies, and industrial buyers.
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers to increase repeat purchases and referrals.
- Ensure professional after-sales follow-up and customer satisfaction.
Market Intelligence
- Track market trends, buyer demand, competitor pricing, and product movements in the UAE.
- Share insights with management on high-demand models, pricing opportunities, and customer feedback.
Operational Coordination
- Coordinate internally on inventory availability, inspections, documentation, delivery scheduling, and payments.
- Ensure sales documentation is accurate and aligned with UAE business requirements.
- Maintain records of client interactions and sales progress through CRM or reporting tools.
Reporting
- Maintain accurate tracking of:
- Leads and opportunities
- Client meetings
- Pipeline value
- Closed deals
- Sales forecasts
- Submit regular performance updates to management.
Product / Category Exposure (Examples)
- Heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles (tractors, tippers, rigid trucks, trailers, etc.)
- Construction machinery (excavators, loaders, rollers, backhoe loaders, etc.)
- Material handling (forklifts, telehandlers, manlifts, reach stackers, etc.)
- Lifting equipment (truck-mounted cranes, mobile cranes, etc.)
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of UAE sales experience in:
- Commercial vehicles and/or
- Heavy equipment / construction machinery
- Proven ability to source leads and close deals independently.
- Strong understanding of UAE buyer segments (construction, logistics, industrial, fleet operators).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong pipeline management discipline and ability to work against targets.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and reporting (Excel, CRM platforms, etc.).
- UAE driving license preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Existing network of buyers in contracting, construction, transport/logistics, rental, and industrial sectors.
- Solid technical understanding of equipment specifications, condition evaluation, and pricing.
- Experience selling both new and used vehicles/equipment.
- Multilingual advantage: English required; Arabic/Hindi/Urdu is a plus.
