Job Description

Job Title: Sales Manager

Job Scope: The Sales Manager is responsible for promoting the company and its products/services through a well-defined strategy and strong partnerships with existing and potential customers within the assigned country. They work towards maximizing sales, acquiring new partnerships, and coordinating marketing programs and activities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Technical and Operations:
    • Define the sales strategy and roadmap for the assigned product/service line.
    • Establish sales budgets and targets, and communicate them to the team.
    • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
    • Identify market requirements for current and future products/services through market research and customer visits.
    • Research, identify, and recruit potential partners in the assigned country.
    • Lead vendor relations in alignment with company management and strategy.
    • Ensure proper inventory storage, tracking, and control through a stock management system.
    • Develop relationships with top partners in the country.
    • Maintain a solid customer and channel database, analyze data, and develop metrics to evaluate loyalty and opportunities.
    • Engage with channel partners to support their needs and resolve issues promptly.
    • Coordinate with the marketing team to design and implement marketing activities.
    • Oversee the execution of targeted programs and campaigns.
    • Develop accurate sales forecasts and market development reports aligned with business goals.
    • Promote the company and its products/services regionally.
    • Utilize systems like Salesforce CRM for leads, opportunities, and deal management to improve efficiency.
  2. Talent Development:
    • Lead and mentor the sales team, fostering empowerment and ownership.
    • Develop team capabilities and establish a succession plan.
    • Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and oversee development plans.

Position Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience.
