Job Purpose:
The role holder is responsible for achieving sales objectives and build long term relationships with customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction and loyalty. She/He assists the Sales Manager in identifying key clients, building business relationship, offering tailor made solutions to such clients, as and when necessary.
Core Responsibilities:
- Creates and maintains the image of the retail facility through advertising and is a prominent presence within the retail facility, interacting continually with sales team members and customers.
- Accurately plan, forecast and develop sales objective.
- Helps to complete sales by balancing the needs of customers, sales consultants, and the retail facility.
- Responsible for achieving training objectives, developing, and motivating sales team members and serves as a role model.
- Must know all of the variables that will affect the business plan, including supply, demand, profit, competition, promotion, pricing, manufacturing issues, insurance rates, and finance rates.
- Achieve sales and customer satisfaction as per the set objective.
- Understand and implement the company QHSE and OSH policy. Allocate responsibility for the QHSE management system and delegate authority.
- Lead in QHSE Risk Management activities within their department ensuring that the methods and systems of work are safe and appropriate for betterment of the operation. Also that the necessary procedures, rules and regulations designed to achieve this are formulated, published and applied.
- Ensure that all new and existing employees in the company are provided with a copy of the policy statement, receive such induction training as may be laid down in procedures, are issued with personal protective equipment as required and their personal responsibilities as set out in AMA QHSE Manual.
Background & Experience (years):
- 3 to 5 years in sales roles.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and to accomplish demanding targets.
- Able to manage complex human relationships and culturally sensitive.
- Strong understanding of the local and regional market.
- MS Office skills.
