Job summary

A global engineering firm is seeking a Reliability Specialist in Abu Dhabi to perform reliability analyses and lead RCM sessions in the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate must have at least 10 years of experience and a solid understanding of RCM principles. Responsibilities include guiding teams through RCM methodology and ensuring documentation accuracy. The position is a resident role with a consecutive working schedule of 48 hours a week.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Reliability/RCM/RAM analysis in Oil & Gas and Power Industries.
  • Solid understanding of RCM principles and ability to apply them.
  • Experience with Failure data analysis.

  • At lease 10 years of experience in Reliability/RCM/RAM analysis mainly in the Oil & Gas and Power Industries.
  • Possess a solid understanding of RCM principles and the ability to translate them into actionable steps for the team.
  • Well versed in RAM modelling and reporting
Main responsibilities
  • Performing Reliability analysis and familiar with Failure data analysis
  • Lead RCM analysis sessions: This involves guiding a team of professionals (often lacking in-depth knowledge of the specific equipment being reviewed) through the standardized RCM methodology.
  • Ensure proper application of RCM: Facilitators ask the prescribed RCM questions ensuring everyone understands them and guiding the team towards reaching consensus-based answers.
  • Maintain documentation accuracy: Meticulously complete all paperwork associated with the RCM review process.
  • Oversee efficient analysis: Keep the review meetings focused and progressing at a steady pace to ensure the analysis is completed within the allotted timeframe.
