Irwin & Dow Careers is seeking an individual for a supportive office role, essential for managing administrative tasks and assisting consultants. The role requires strong communication skills, experience in Dubai, and a proactive attitude in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will enjoy diverse responsibilities within a growing team.
This is a lovely and personable role that involves a multitude of skills, including client and candidate management, office administration, and basic accounts. The role will support the company and its consultants with daily and project work involving candidates, clients, and consultants. Responsibilities include office administration, assisting with business development and marketing activities, and liaising with external providers, including the company accountant. This is a strong support role seeking a mature individual with an empathetic and proactive nature due to the demands and nature of the role.
Key accountabilities include the daily running of the office—from supplying stationery to preparing workshop materials, updating the company’s record system, and acting as PA to the Managing Director. This involves diary management, meeting research and preparation, and supporting marketing activities such as newsletters, press releases, and invoicing.
Additional responsibilities include IT maintenance, supporting candidates with CV preparation and proofreading, booking meeting rooms, arranging parking passes, and other ad hoc tasks.
The ideal applicant will have worked in Dubai for the past couple of years, possess excellent communication skills in English, have a good working knowledge of IT and social media. Knowledge of Salesforce.com is a plus. We seek someone who will enjoy the diversity of the role and add value to a small but rapidly growing team.
