Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales / Relationship Manager preferably strong background in banking and trade finance to manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining long-term relationships, identifying client needs, and offering tailored financial solutions related to trade finance products such as letters of credit, bank guarantees, and structured finance instruments.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through cold calling, referrals, partnerships, etc.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client interactions, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Understand client requirements and propose tailored trade finance solutions.
  • Ensure proper onboarding of new clients, including documentation, KYC, compliance, and operational setup.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and promote additional trade finance instruments or services to existing clients.
  • Escalate complex matters to senior management and coordinate with relevant departments until resolution.
  • Maintain an updated sales pipeline with detailed stages, client status, expected closures, and follow-up actions.
  • Submit regular sales reports in line with company policies, procedures, and reporting schedules.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support deal execution, participate in team meetings, and provide constructive client feedback.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Reporting Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a sales or relationship management role, preferably within a bank or trade finance institution.
  • Proven ability to manage high-value client relationships and generate new business opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
